BORA Cool: the innovative BORA refrigerator
Store fresh groceries neatly and keep everything easily within reach. The BORA Cool combines a spacious, flexibly configurable refrigerator with Fresh zero compartments, uniform cooling, and handy accessories. You can also choose whether you want the refrigerator with or without a freezer compartment.
Storing Fresh Produce with BORA Fresh zero
Vegetables, fruit, meat, and other fresh produce don’t all require the same storage conditions. That’s why the BORA Cool features a Fresh zero compartment with three removable bins in addition to the standard refrigerator compartment. The temperature in this compartment is around 0 °C. Two of the bins also feature a humidity-regulating lid that lets you adjust the humidity level. This allows you to store fresh produce under conditions that are better suited to the specific type of product. The bins sit on pull-out shelves and are fully removable. This is convenient when stocking the refrigerator and when you want to clean the bins.
Even cooling throughout the entire refrigerator
With recirculating cooling, the BORA Cool keeps the temperature in the refrigerator compartment stable. Cold air is distributed throughout the refrigerator, ensuring that items in different areas are properly cooled. BORA itself cites this as one of the most important features of the cooling system. Just done your grocery shopping? With Power Cool, you can temporarily lower the temperature more quickly to chill your new groceries. The refrigerator also features Eco and Holiday modes, among other functions.
A refrigerator you can organize yourself
A large pot, a tall bottle, or lots of small packages—the contents of your fridge look different every week. That’s why you can adjust various parts of the BORA Cool to suit what you want to store. The refrigerator has adjustable glass shelves, a bottle rack, various door compartments, and a multitray. The Fresh Zero bins are removable, and various accessories are also available for the door and the refrigerator compartment. This allows you to organize the available space practically, rather than having your groceries adapt to a fixed layout.
BORA Cool or BORA Cool Combi?
The main difference lies in the amount of freezer space. The BORA Cool is primarily a refrigerator and is available without a freezer compartment or with a compact freezer compartment at the top. The BORA Cool Combi combines a full-size refrigerator compartment with a separate freezer compartment. BORA uses two separate cooling circuits for the refrigerator and freezer compartments. If you want plenty of both refrigerator and freezer space, you can place a separate BORA Cool next to a BORA Freeze.
Lighting at different heights
Even when the refrigerator is full, you want to be able to quickly see what’s inside. That’s why the BORA Cool features LED lighting at multiple levels. The lighting is integrated into various parts of the interior, and the fan cover features indirect lighting. This ensures that more than just the top section of the refrigerator is illuminated.
BORA Cool with or without a freezer compartment
Not every kitchen has the same need for freezer space. That’s why the BORA Cool is available with or without an integrated freezer compartment. If you choose the model without a freezer compartment, you’ll have the entire interior space available for refrigerated items. If you’d like to keep a small amount of frozen items on hand, there’s also a model with a 4-star freezer compartment at the top of the refrigerator. Do you regularly need more freezer space? Then consider the BORA Cool Combi, which combines a refrigerator and freezer, or a separate BORA Freeze.
Accessories for the BORA Cool
It’s the accessories that make the BORA Cool’s layout so interesting. In addition to the standard features, there are various components that let you further customize the refrigerator. Consider, for example, a wooden serving board that you can take straight from the refrigerator and place on the table, sorting bins for unpackaged fruits and vegetables, a multitray, storage containers, and a multi-door compartment. Even a bottle opener can have a designated spot in the refrigerator. This way, you can decide for yourself which accessories actually add value to the way you use your refrigerator.
Dimensions of the BORA Cool Refrigerator
The BORA Cool is 559 mm wide, 1,770 mm high, and 546 mm deep. A niche height of 1,772 to 1,788 mm is required for installation. The door’s opening direction can be adjusted. This allows us to take the refrigerator’s position and the direction in which you prefer to open it into account when designing the kitchen.
