BORA Classic 2.0 cooktop with range hood

With the BORA Classic 2.0, you decide exactly what your cooktop looks like. Instead of a single fixed cooktop, you choose different cooking zones and combine them with the central extractor. This allows you to create a system that suits the way you like to cook. From induction to gas and the Tepan stainless steel grill: it’s precisely this freedom of choice that sets the Classic 2.0 apart from the compact BORA models, where the cooktop and ventilation system form a single unit.
A modular BORA cooking system
The BORA Classic 2.0 consists of a central cooktop extractor that you can combine with cooktops of your choice. Up to two cooktops can be connected to each extractor. If you want a larger setup, combinations with multiple extractors and cooktops are also possible. The extractor and cooktops can be flush-mounted into the countertop or installed as surface-mounted units. This allows the system to be tailored to both your cooking style and the design of your kitchen.
Choose the cooktops that suit you
Seven different cooktops are available for the BORA Classic 2.0. Your options include induction, gas, wok, and a Tepan stainless steel grill. The various cooktops can be combined with one another. If you cook mainly with pans, a combination with induction is the obvious choice. If you also want to be able to fry directly on a hot plate, you can, for example, combine an induction cooktop with the Tepan grill. BORA also offers complete set combinations for this, including two induction cooktops or a combination of induction and Tepan.
Operating the BORA Classic 2.0
The controls are located centrally on the range hood. You control the entire system using the multicolored sControl+ panel. The color of the controls clearly indicates whether you’re operating the cooktop (red) or the range hood (blue). The range hood features automatic ventilation, automatic run-on, a power level, and a timer, among other functions. In a recirculation system, there is also an indicator for the filter’s condition and maintenance.

Integrated range hood between the cooktops
The cooktop vent is the central feature of the Classic 2.0. It is installed between the selected cooktops and extracts cooking fumes directly at the cooking surface. This eliminates the need for a traditional range hood above the cooktop, keeping the space above your countertop clear. The extraction system features a stainless steel grease filter and an integrated grease collection tray.
BORA Classic 2.0 with recirculation or venting
The BORA Classic 2.0 is available in both recirculation and exhaust configurations. Which solution is best depends, among other things, on the kitchen design and the feasibility of installing an exhaust duct to the outside. With exhaust ventilation, the extracted cooking fumes are vented outside via a duct system. With recirculation, the air is filtered and then recirculated back into the room.
How big is the BORA Classic 2.0?
Since you configure the BORA Classic 2.0 yourself, there isn’t a single fixed overall size, as there is with the compact BORA cooktops. A combination of two cooking zones with a single central extraction unit requires a cutout of 776 mm for flush installation. The final dimensions depend on the chosen configuration and installation method.
How much does a BORA Classic 2.0 cost?
The price of the BORA Classic 2.0 depends on the configuration. You choose not only the extractor but also which cooktops you want to use alongside it. A combination with two induction cooktops therefore has a different price than, for example, a combination of induction and Tepan. During a consultation, we can compare the various options and provide a complete price quote for your desired configuration and installation.
